  • STIFF TEA

    12.30 stiff tea- Untraditional Kombucha- An in-person session exploring hard kombucha beyond the usual expectations- tickets here.

  • THE FERM

    1PM- Rebecca Ghim, co-founder of The Ferm, will be hosting a talk on the history of kimchi and fermentation in Korea, exploring the diversity of regional variations and the cultural roots behind it. We’ll also touch on the more “activist” mindset of fermentation, moving away from sterile, industrial food systems and returning to making food by hand, collectively, and in connection with microbes. It’s also, in many ways, an immigrant story, how food evolves, adapts, and finds new meaning in different contexts. NO TICKET REQUIRED

  • Sylt- History of Pickling

    2pm. While you snack on some of our favourite pickled things, we will take you through the history of pickling – from the superpowers Cleopatra believed pickles possessed, to its role in modern day elite sports. We’ll finish off with a Q&A, so you can get all of your burning pickle-related questions answered! Free entry

  • Guided kombucha tasting

    2.30pm- Join Livia from Wild IS Earth for a relaxed, flavour-led kombucha tasting. Experience small-batch brews, discover new flavours, and enjoy something a little different.

    Reserve your spot and join Livia as she guides you through a selection of wild, small-batch kombucha brews. You’ll get a gentle introduction to how they’re made and what brings each flavour to life.

    Join Nick Vadasz—AKA "The Picklesman" and founder of Vadasz pickles & ferments—as he shares expert tips on taking your BBQ to the next level. From using pickle brine to marinate and tenderise meats, to adding fermented kimchis and pickled sides for freshness and contrast, Nick will answer all your questions on how to “Vadasz it up” this BBQ season.
