Our sessions are grassroots, community-driven and built on word-of-mouth support. Expect a respectful, music-focused crowd bringing warm, positive energy to the space.

We're turning the taproom into the ultimate summer celebration with an all-day Ice Cream Party in collaboration with Chunk Provisions.
Expect plenty of frozen treats from the Chunk scoop cart, the exclusive launch of our brand-new beer collaboration, and DJs spinning feel-good tunes throughout the day. Patty & Pickle will be serving up a special one-day-only ice cream-inspired menu, putting a playful twist on their signature burgers and sides.

POTTERY AT THE PUB
Come down to your favourite Walthamstow Brewery for an evening of pottery with your pals. In this fun, relaxed and inclusive workshop we'll show you how to use the pinching technique to make small cups, bowls, trinket dishes, plant pots or whatever your heart (or the clay!) desires. The session will be run by professional potters and good friends Flo (Florence Mytum Ceramics) and Suzy (We Are Clay). After the session Flo and Suzy will glaze and fire your piece(s) so you can keep and use them forever. They'll be ready for collection from Exale Taproom around 4-6 weeks after the workshop. Burgers from Patty & Pickle, locally brewed beer, wine and soft drinks will also be available from the bar and can be enjoyed during the workshop. Materials, glazing and the firing of your piece(s) are all included in the price. No experience necessary, suitable for all levels - beginners and seasoned pros alike! Tickets here

Walthamstow Arts trail Wax carving
Join us at the fabulous Exale taproom as part of the Walthamstow Art Trail, and learn the ancient art of wax carving. We’ll show you how to carve your very own ring or pendant in jeweller’s wax – no experience needed.
In this relaxed, fun and hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to sculpt, carve, and shape your design into life, creating a unique model in hard wax.
Tools and materials are provided; all you need to bring are your ideas. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your hand-carved wax model, or choose to have your finished design cast in silver afterwards at an additional cost if you fall in love with it.
Locally brewed beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks available from the bar, together with excellent burgers from Patty & Pickle.
Don’t worry if you’ve never held a carving tool before, this workshop is perfect for beginners! Tickets here
